Between holiday gatherings, travel, and end-of-the-year work obligations, these last couple months can be hectic. But this November, Senator Jim Nielsen (R-Gerber) and the staff and family members of Revere Court residents all took time out of busy schedules for a rewarding meeting.
According to Executive Director Cat Hennan, “He spent almost three hours in our community.” During that time, Nielsen met with representatives of Revere Court, including CALA board member Michel Augsburger, and several family members. The meeting focused on some of the important points of CALA’s shared vision with its members for a model of care that offers choice, dignity, and independence to California’s seniors.
Thank you to the Revere Court staff and family members for sharing your time and your thoughts with Senator Nielsen. It is relationship-building like this that will help ensure consumer choice and quality care in the state…and that is a worthy cause, regardless of the time of year.
