Are you an Assisted Living community or aging organization with an innovative new app or strong digital presence? Maybe you have an outstanding training program or noteworthy publication? Well, it could be award-winning!
According to a press release, the National Mature Media Awards is now accepting entries for its 24th annual competition:
This awards program—the largest of its kind—recognizes the nation’s best advertising, marketing, communications, educational materials, and programs produced for older adults.
Hundreds of organizations from across the U.S. submit entries for the annual competition. Recent National Mature Media Awards winners have included: AARP, Advertising and Public Relations Agencies, Area Agencies on Aging, Government Agencies, Health Plans, Hospitals and Health Systems, Insurance Companies, Medical Communications Firms, Medicare (CMS), Non-Profit Health Associations, Senior Centers, Senior Housing Communities, and Senior Media Publishers.
There are 29 entry categories and 8 entry divisions for the 2015 competition. New categories include: Web-based & Mobile Resources, Mature Work & Retirement Programs, and Education/Training Programs. Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit prizes are awarded based on entry format, content, creativity, relevance, and overall quality.
The National Mature Media Awards is organized by the Mature Market Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for professionals who work in older adult markets. Sponsors for this awards program include the Assisted Living Federation of America, of which CALA is a state affiliate. In 2013, CALA member The Magnolia of Millbrae was a recipient of a Mature Media Award for their YouTube video.
