Assemblymember Ken Cooley Meets the Residents and Staff of Citrus Heights Terrace

This time of year, there are a lot of “Best of” lists out there…but our vote for the California legislator who’s “Most Fun in Photographs” may just be Assemblymember Ken Cooley.

Earlier this year, he gave a hearty wave and a smile in this picture snapped during a Day in Your District meeting with CALA members:

And last month, he was enjoying his time with the residents and staff of Citrus Heights Terrace so much that he memorialized the moment in this charming selfie:

In addition, the Assemblymember took note of the wonderful job the staff members were doing to provide quality care and support to the residents each day.

Have you had your legislator visit your community this year? Maybe you’ve also participated in CALA’s advocacy events, or called or written in support of legislation? If so, you may be named CALA’s Advocate of the Year for 2014. All you need to do is fill out an entry form and tell us all you’ve done on behalf of Assisted Living. But hurry…the deadline to enter is January 23rd!
