USC Davis School of Gerontology Graduate Scholarship for CALA Members

News from the CALA OfficeDeadline: June 13, 2014

To support CALA members in their ongoing pursuit of providing excellent care and service to residents, while employing sound business practices, the University of Southern California, Davis School of Gerontology is pleased to announce the opportunity for a qualified CALA member to receive a full scholarship* to complete the graduate level degree of his/her choice below, either on-site or online:

  • Master of Arts in Gerontology
  • Master of Science in Gerontology
  • Master of Long Term Care Administration
  • Master of Aging Services Management
  • Graduate Certificate in Gerontology

This opportunity came about as a result of relationship-building with USC’s faculty. As part of our association’s strategic plan, we developed a scholarship program for current university students interested in careers in Assisted Living to attend our biannual conferences. Through this program, our members gain access to a pool of highly qualified individuals dedicated to caring for seniors; as an added bonus, the relationships built with USC faculty through this initiative led to the offer of a scholarship for CALA members.

If you are interested in furthering your education at this elite School of Gerontology, submit your application for this amazing opportunity today! The scholarship recipient will be notified by June 30th and will be recognized at the CALA Fall Conference & Trade Show in October. Classes begin August, 2014.

*Full scholarship includes tuition. Student is responsible for books and other materials.
