The 2013 Fall Conference & Trade Show can be summed up in one word: wow! More than 650 Assisted Living professionals gathered in Rancho Mirage for three exciting days of high-level educational sessions, networking events, and the biggest trade show to date.
Attendees explored the “next chapter” in marketing, dementia care, activities, and operations from highly-rated session presenters. We enjoyed food, drink, and networking at the trade show and during Tuesday night’s Sunset BBQ. We welcomed the recipients of CALA’s student scholarships to the Fall Conference & Trade Show for the first time, and we honored the recipients of the Southern California Excellence in Service Awards.

Networking with people in the field is very valuable. The session topics were interesting. I found it difficult to choose at times.
This conference was one of my favorites. I can truly say I took away something from almost every session that can be used in our communities.
